2019 began our sixth year doing Wiener Wednesday. For those that don't know, every Wednesday (with an occasional Tuesday or Thursday thrown in) during the school year, Wayne B, Jeff B, and Bill H, set up a table, grill and accessories to prepare and give away hot dogs and cookies to kids from at least 3 schools in the area. Including people just looking for something to eat. It is an outreach program we started, literally, to feed the people...no strings attached. We start at about 2:45 pm and end about 3:30 pm each Wednesday. It has been a fun and enlightening experience. Such a simple thing is appreciated by many. We've served over 7,500 hot dogs, chips, and cookies. Supported almost all from donations. We appreciate the help we've received and hope to continue as long as there's a need.
